Busy Spring

What a busy busy spring I had on my bike!  In the month of March I finished the GR2R ( Getting Ready to Ride series) only to begin the CTS (Cascade Training Series) in April.  Our first CTS ride was only 28 miles long with a total elevation gain of 1160 feet.  I just finished riding CTS #10 last Saturday which was 92 miles long with an elevation gain of 4146 feet.  There are only three more CTS rides left to this year's series.  June 22 and 28 and our final ride on Saturday, July 5th which is more of a celebration ride, the 50 mile loop around Lake Washington which we did on CTS #4.  Also, in mid May I began a diet of sorts.  I cut out all processed foods and refined sugars with wonderful results.  I lost 7 pounds in 5 weeks.  My goal is to lose 10-15 more pounds.  I will be off all summer beginning June 18th (I just love working in a school because of the great breaks, especially summer break!)  Here are a few pictures from some of the rides I did from March, April, and May . . .
